Big Van Vader

Leon Allen White, also known by his ring names Big Van Vader or simply Vader, is an American semiretired professional wrestler. White spent the majority of his career with promotions World Championship Wrestling , the World Wrestling Federation , New Japan Pro Wrestling , and All Japan Pro Wrestling in the 1990s.

White was born in Lynwood, California, though his family then lived in Compton. His birth was induced early, due to health risks, thepound,inch White posed for his fourfootten mother. He was raised with his sister in a rough area of Los Angeles known as South Central, where the siblings experienced a home breakin. His sixfootsix father was an underwater welder for the US Navy, and invented a popular automobile hoist, which made the family wealthier and let them move to a safer neighbourhood in Bell, where White attended Bell High School.
